Our Tradition Of Best Hospitality

This tranquil home away from home is situated in the culturally ambient city of Mysuru. Backed by its elegant style of colonial architecture and rich history of nearly a century, this beautiful mansion will take you back in time.

The existing house can be separated into two parts. Originally one part of the existing house was within the fort of the Mysuru Palace. It was built in the traditional Indian architectural style consisting of an open courtyard in the center with four carved wooden pillars. During the turn of the century, the year 1897 to be exact, a plague broke out wiping out nearly half the population of the city. That was when that part of the house was deconstructed and relocated brick by brick to its current location.

The Hampe’s Heritage Home is a family run homestay that allows its guests to experience the cultural atmosphere of typical Mysuru life. The rooms are tastefully and thoughtfully decorated with an effort to preserve the heritage touch as well as to make the guests comfortable with the high demands of modern travellers. It is an old traditional Mysuru Heritage home that has been passionately renovated by the hosts themselves. It is located within a 5 minute drive from the Suburban/KSRTC bus stop. It offers varied room choices and a serene atmosphere where the guests can relax and enjoy their breakfast.
